Symphony of Noise In French Troubled Waters? WHY THIS TITLE?

Water sounds ( raindrops, waves ... " Water in all its states " ) are used throughout the album. Water helps to extinguish the great flame of artists on fire. Many people consider that the music they don't understand is noise, a cacophony. The album gives an answer in advance to such a criticism by using a lot of water to extinguish what might be considered by some as bad flames (song: " drift in troubled waters " ).

The lyrics of the song "Symphonie de Bruit " are about notes of music, about the passion with which they are played by the musicians, the positive effects they can have on some (their sequence is a "Symphony" ) and negative effects they may have on others (their sequence is a "Cacophony").

SYMPHONY OF NOISE, I LOVE YOU

If you want a repetitive music, you will not like this album of TenGang . Here the tempo change (bass, drums) is the rule, several times in a song , as in jazz-rock. The musical arrangements are based on extremely varied sounds, and you will be surprised by a flow of sound in all directions. All this is intended to lead the listener into a rhythmic and musical journey as rich as possible, where he will be surprised at every step. You can listen to a song in several different ways. You can focus either on the lyrics, or the voice, or on bass, or on drums, or on guitars, or on the placement of sounds in space, or on the musical arrangements. This will enable a rich musical delight, varied, and especially SUSTAINABLE. Several tracks are instrumental or semi- instrumental . The language used in the non-instrumental tracks is French, but the voices are used as sounds and a non-Francophone can heard them as musical instruments. Everything was done so that the listener of the album comes out very shaken of this MUSICAL JOURNEY, that he has the feeling of having traveled around the world through many and varied emotions. TenGang music is anti-popular-repetitive-music based on a unique musical inventiveness. Influences on the album are : Pink Floyd , Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, Tangerine Dream , Prince, James Brown, King Crimson , Yes , Emerson Lake and Palmer, Jazz-Rock, Funk.

Note: For English speakers who do not understand French, listen to the melody, and discover a new way to experience music without understanding the lyrics. This is what do the billion of earthlings who listen to music in English. They focus on melody. And when the lyrics are light or poor, it does not affect the assessment of the song. Try it and see. Listen to music sung in a language other than English, without understanding the words, emotions can be absolutely new.
